Again, Liposonix is a safe, non-surgical and non-invasive treatment which simply means you need not to go under the knife for this treatment. How does Liposonix® work?
The treatment head of Liposonix® system is placed on the targeted area. High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) energy focuses on the targeted fat and destroys the fat cells under the layers of the skin. A continuous lesion is created on the targeted fat and no harm is done the skin layers. The fat tissues will be removed through the body's natural healing and elimination process.
You may feel discomfort, pain, coldness, prickling, tingling or warmth experience during the treatment. These effects are usually described as mild.
