After having a short trip to Manly Beach, we returned to the city and reunited with Grey before we head to the The Rocks market. The Rocks Market is just approximately 5-10minutes walking distance from the Circular Quay.
The Rocks Market opens on Fridays (Foodie Market | 9am-3pm), Saturdays and Sundays (The Rocks Markets | 10am-5pm). If you ask me, it's quite similar to the street market at Curve here, with more variation on stuffs that the vendors are selling here. You can find dresses and bags (modern and vintage) designed by the stallholder, one-off jewelry, original artworks and prints - all at one place!
A day before we leave Sydney, we stopped by at the Pancakes On The Rocks to enjoy the delicious pancakes here. It was a good choice to go over during the weekday as it's not as packed as during the weekend. Expect the long queue around this place during the weekend.
The entire place looks hipster-ish with a cozy ambiance and nice interior setting. They were quite full on that day and only left 2-3 empty tables.
Devils Delight - A$14.95 |
Bavarian Apple - A$12.95 |
We're still quite full after our ice cream treats while on the way to this place and end up only ordered two pancakes from the menu. My favorite would be the Devils Delight! The chocolate pancakes served with fresh strawberries, cream, chocolate ice cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce. So yummy! Grey loves the Bavarian Apple, buttermilk pancakes served with marinated apple and sultanas, topped with cream, vanilla ice cream and a dusting of cinnamon sugar. Super love the huge portion of serving and the fluffy pancakes!
