I was born in small island called Labuan which was previously part of Sabah and now is one of the federal territories in Malaysia. My first travel experience would be from Labuan to Kota Kinabalu which sometime my parents opt to travel by ferry or plane. KK is considered huge to me when I was small and still huge now, because there so much more to explore in a place I called as hometown. I'm glad that I've chosen Tourism Management back in college and got to know and visit places in Sabah itself, which were all beautiful not only for the breathtaking scenery but culture and histories. From my studies, I get to know and learn about places around the world and I started making a wishlist to visit those countries when I'm capable to earn money and travel.

MTR handle to Disneyland Resort are all Mickey's head! |
I've been dreaming to visit Disneyland since the first Disneyland was built. I know it's not cheap and I know to be able to meet all the Disney characters myself would feel complete. When Le boyfriend told me that we are going to Hong Kong, the only thing stuck in my mind was Disneyland! Our visit to Disneyland Hong Kong was 4 months ago and it's still one of the best travel memories ever.

Hong Kong Disneyland |
HOW TO GO Hong Kong Disneyland from Tsim Tsa Tsui? We took the MTR from Tsim Tsa Tsui station to Central station and walked around 10mins to the Hong Kong station. From Hong Kong station to the Sunny Bay and the opposite line is Disneyland. The route signs weren't very confusing in Hong Kong, that's how convenient to be in there.

Water fountain @ HK Disneyland |
When we thought we're one of the earliest crowds in Disneyland, we were wrong and some of them ran passed by us and when I thought we're here but no, there's another short distance to walk over and get our tickets.
|
Cute tickets! |
HKD450 per ticket for adult. It may be pricey but it's going to worth it, at least to someone who has been dreaming to be here. ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ
All the buildings were so unique and I can't stop myself from entering each shop that we passed by one after another. Eric had to kept reminding me that we're running out of time if we keep stopping by and the shops mostly selling almost the same souvenirs.
We spotted Mickey and Minnie and nothing that we can do but queue. It was sunny and that was the first time I willingly to stand under the sun without a word of complaint. That's all it takes to finally meet Mickey and Minnie in person! (>人<;)
It's finally our turn and I was totally overjoyed! Both Mickey and Minnie were so kind and adorable, Mickey did the nose-kiss with me for several time and hold me arm to arm, my life almost complete at that moment! (╥﹏╥)
Minnie Mouse has been my most favorite Disney character and some of you knew I have how many of different Minnie Mouse plushies in KL and KK. At that time, I wish I'm just a lil girl so that I can dress up in the minnie mouse costume and take super cute and lovely photos with them!
We could see the castle from far apart and I can't wait to be there! There's various shows at every place in Disneyland and we wouldn't want to miss every single show and trust me, it's hard to make the decision and the timing just kinda close to another shows. The Hong Kong Disneyland consists of 6 different lands - Main Street U.S.A., Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Adventureland, Toy Story Land, Mystic Point and Grizzly Gulch. Thank God we were given a map and we get to plan it nicely where to go first and next.
Le boyfriend knew am very much a fantasy-lover, he then decided to stop at Fantasyland and queue for "The Golden Mickeys"! It's an awards show featuring different Disney characters in the show.
What I did was not taking photos but sit back and enjoy the entire show! All the lighting and sound effect were so good and pretty much impressive.

Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto |
|
Quasimodo |
|
Lilo & Stitch |
The joy of watching each of the Disney's characters performed one by one and you could recognize them, it's really awesome! There's Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Belle (Beauty) & The Beast, Tarzan, Woody & Jessie, Quasimodo, Lilo & Stitch, Mulan & Captain Shang, not to forget Ariel the little mermaid and her underwater friends! Oh-so-much-fun!
|
Mickey's Philhar Magic |
Our next stop was the Mickey's Philhar Magic! Here's where you join Maestro Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and pals for a dazzling immerse 3-D attraction bursting forth with amazement! The 3-D effect was really cool and you feel the wind and water splash on you, this is really magically great!
We didn't really take note on "Meet The Characters" session as we afraid of missing some other great shows. But most of the time, we actually "accidentally" met some of the character like this gorgeous Pixie Hollow and if you're lucky, you can stop by and snap a photo with them if there's no queue! ヽ(*´v`*)ノ
We then moved on to Adventureland and stopped by at this Liki Tikis. Oh, you have to beware when you decided to stand in the middle in there to snap a nice photo! You'll somehow surprised by unexpected refreshing blast of water by the tikis and get wet too! ヽ(;▽;)ノ
On the other side of the land, you could easily spotted sturdy and strong Tarzanhouse! Of course, you could enjoy the rafting too to head over and visit Tarzanhouse. You'd be surprised to see what's inside the house. Y(^_^)Y
Of all street foods in Hong Kong, I particularly addicted with this grilled squid snack! It cost slightly pricy in Disneyland but I can't resist from the temptation, it smells too good! Yums!
What's next? The Festival of the Lion King is definitely not-to-be-missed show too! We'll get to rewind back where Simba was born and it continues...
|
Simba the Lion King |
|
Simba & friends! |
|
Those were real fires! |
You'll be amazed on their story-telling, with its colorful magic, dance and songs for the huge celebration! The animal characters just relive the whole story all over again!
There's a twist of love story between Simba and Nala which was pretty touching and sweet! No, you wouldn't want to miss this amazing show!
We decided to jump for Jungle River Cruise as there weren't many people queuing for it. Frankly, we didn't know what to expect as we thought it going to be another normal one-round cruise with some sightseeing.
We were wrong, again. This river certainly not the normal one but we're going through a mysterious river that filled with interesting tales. The captain of our boat totally made it super interesting and funny at the same time, laughter and screaming filled our river cruise journey.

Huge Hippo! |
Watch this short video I've recorded during the Jungle River Cruise!
|
Where are the people? |
|
They're in trouble! :p |
It was really fun and a lil thrilling to be in the boat when things kept happening unexpectedly right in front of your or just right beside you! It was short river cruise but it's definitely not a boring one. At this time, we quickly rushed back to Main Street U.S.A. for one of the grand show - Flights of Fantasy Parade.
We made a few other stops before we went to the Hong Kong Disneyland Railroad. I have never had so much fun to be on the train and enjoy all the sightseeing of the entire Disneyland here.
The only thing that I regretted the most was we didn't stay for the fireworks! It was a huge missed and this also made another reason for me to come back for another visit to Disneyland! ヽ(´□`。)ノ To be able to be in Disneyland was already something magical to me, it will always be.
