Being one of the admins of The Butterfly Project, we were all invited for a hair makeover treat from The Loft Hairdressing. Knowing Chi Wai for quite some time, I know he knows what's the best for me and surprisingly he still remember that my dad doesn't allow me to have crazily-daring colors. Ù©(^á´—^)Û¶
Prior before proceeding with the hair coloring process, he showed me some color shades and asked me several questions on the shades of color that I can accept. The blonde is definitely out of my way. ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ
He then started with the pre-lightening my hair color. Before some of you are going to ask me why the application wasn't evenly applied, it is due to Chi Wai used the "BALAYAGE" technique. Just so you know that "Balayage" is a French coloring technique that was developed in the 1970s. It's a freehand technique where the color is applied by hand rather than using the traditional foiling or cap highlighting techniques. It's also a very economical way especially when you don't have the time to be in the salon every few weeks for a touch up. ✾꒡ .̮ ꒡✾
After the hair pre-lightening process, Chi Wai then proceeds with the coloring process. He used the violety-red color shades on my hair.
