Believe it or not, Eric and I seldom had a brunch date together for quite some time already. Well, that's either I have morning event or I just prefer to sleep a little longer and he had to buy and pack the food for me. We finally make it up for something different, a lovely brunch date at Maison Française. (Ɔ ˘⌣˘)♥(˘⌣˘ C)

Not to mention how much we love how the natural lighting coming from the window that allow anyone to take plenty of nice photos here too! Grapefruit Cranberry Fusion mocktail -RM16 |
Chocolate Latte -RM14 |
We begin our brunch with drinks of our own. I opted for the refreshing Grapefruit Cranberry Fusion mocktail and Eric get to enjoy his cup of Chocolate Latte.
Throughout the entire meal course, we were served with unlimited serving of fluffy French bread together with the avocado mousse and butter. Warm and fluffy bread, with a slight crisp on the side, you would ask for more.
Le tartare de cabillaud et saumon, huile d'olive et jus de citron
I know, that's such a long mouthful name for an appetizer dish! This is a serving of cod and salmon tartar with spring vegetable, lemon juice and olive oil dressing. Trust me, this is quite irresistible! A very tantalizing and appetizing starter to begin with, it was juicy and delicious. (●♡∀♡)
La noisette d'agneau en croute d'herbes
Followed by the first main course, we were served with the seared lamb loin crusted with herbs. It looked really simple, but you know you can expect something that's going to taste really awesome from this particular dish.
It was cooked in medium rare and you can see the pinkish in the inside after you cut it into half. If you're not a fan of lamb who always turned down by the gamy smell of it, you'd be surprised this dish. We're totally satisfied with the tender and juicy lamb meat, dip it into the sauce surrounded it made it taste more awesome! ( ˘ ³˘)❤
Le filet de bar poêté, Risotto a'l'encre, coulis de péquillo
Before you ask me how to pronounce it, no, I don't know. One thing I can tell you, this is yet another delicious main course that we truly enjoyed. The seared seabass lies on the bed of squid ink risotto with the red capsicum sauce, taste uniquely delicious! I have never tried anything with such combination of flavors, it turned out really great. You can't say no to the succulent seabass and the squid ink risotto were perfectly done, I wouldn't mind to enjoy another serving of it! (๑॔˃̶ॢ◟◞ ˂̶ॢ๑॓)♡
La rosace d'agrumes sabayon au Champagne
To complete our meal, we had this serving of gratinated citrus and champagne Sabayon as dessert. Unlike the usual cold dessert, this is a rather hot dessert dish (as in, really hot). We let it chill a little while before start enjoy the dessert. It has a mixture of sweet and sourish taste that comes from the fruits, with a hint of alcohol taste that slowly oozing out from the middle.
It was such a perfect and satisfying brunch meal. Not only we get to enjoy all the delicious foods served, but also did the catching up since we were both busy with our own job all this while that we hardly talk to each other. (๑′á´—‵๑)I Lᵒᵛᵉᵧₒᵤ♥
