I was waiting for it to come to me and God knows how much I love the new Canon Selphy Printer CP910. The Canon SELPHY CP910 is a compact photo printer with wireless connectivity. The package comes in variation of 54 sheets, 108 sheets and 1080 sheets.
It can be used as a mobile access point, connecting PCs, smartphone and tablets directly to the CP910 without the need to use external routers. Trust me, the control buttons and menus are extremely user-friendly, they are pretty straightforward, which makes easy for a beginner like me. The LCD can be tilted to 45 degrees for better viewing too!
What I love about this Canon SELPHY CP910 photo printer?
Easy Set Up.
It is relatively easy to set this compact printer up. Always read the manual! (It won't take you for long to read them) Simply drop down the side panel and slot-in the cartridge. Then, fill up the supplied plastic paper cassette with the required media, lower the front panel and click it into place.
Built-in WiFi function.
This simply means I can either print out photos directly from my laptop or smartphone anytime I wish. With my iPhone5S, I can either install the applications from the App Store or just simply select the photo and click print. Voila! My photo printed out nicely and glossy too! All I need to do is set my smartphone's WiFi settings to the revealed SSID and enter the password before I starts selecting the photos.
For those who are using Android or Windows RT devices, you're required to download the Canon Easy-PhotoPrint app in order to print it directly from your devices.
Built-in USB port and SD card slot.
Wish to print out photos directly from your camera? It's easy and you can now save the hassle of transferring them to your PC by just inserting the SD card into the built-in SD card slot on the front. Meanwhile, the USB port on the side will allow PC or Mac connection or for flash drives and PictBridge printing.
High Quality Photos Printing.
The dye-sublimation technology uses heat to transfer ink to paper, reproducing approximately 16.8 million colors for amazing pictures in both color and black & white. It takes only 47 seconds to print a postcard size photo and just under 30 seconds for a credit card size image. The best part of all - photos printed from your SELPHY will be water-resistant and last up to 100 years!
One of the main reasons I got excited when I finally got this set of SELPHY CP910 compact photo printer - SCRAPBOOK! This is something I used to enjoy doing it during my high school time and still loving this hobby as much.
