Get Unready With Me

This is random and honestly, I'm not sure which title to use for this post - whether to use "get unready with me" or "my night skincare routine". Anyway, let's just settle for one and get into the whole thing, shall we? ;)

Trust me, it's really NOT easy to film this particular video. It's not something I can just sit down and talk about it. I hope I did a somewhat okay job on showing you my evening skincare routine here because that's exactly what I do every single night before I go to bed.

Having an extremely sensitive, dehydrated and acne-prone skin, all you want to do is focus on clearing the blemishes and acnes that decided to pop up on your skin from time to time. That being said, cleansing step is really crucial for me. I am a huge fan of double and triple cleansing to ensure there's no makeup residue left on my face before I proceed with applying toner and moisturiser on my skin.

I've been using the Philips Visapure skincare device since last year and I got thrilled with the launching of the new Philips Visapure Advanced Skincare device! It features a tailored cleansing and care approach as well as delivering a pampering experience! Also, can we please talk about the sleek design with rose gold detailing on the device?!

With all these different types of heads that comes with it, allows you to take your at-home skincare to the next level as it's not only help on cleansing but also work to improve micro-circulation, increase absorption of skincare product and refresh tired eyes. What really amazed me the most is the near-field communication technology in the device automatically recognises and differentiates between the three attachments, triggering a tailored programme suited to it.

Though it comes with a deep cleansing brush head, I actually got myself the anti-blemish brush head. I normally only use either the sensitive or anti-blemish brush heads for my previous Philips Visapure skincare device anyway. This is because I personally think the normal deep cleansing brush head is too harsh for my sensitive skin and causes breakouts. The anti-blemish brush head features long, thin bristles reach pores better than hands alone, making it 10 times 3 more effective but just as gentle. It works with cleanser to dissolve sebum and reduce oiliness, then removes dead skin cells and residue that can clog pores. A proper removal of dead skin cells and residue helps the skin to absorb creams and moisturisers more effectively!
